At the Waste Less Shop, we believe in community involvement and events in order to foster education and connection revolving around sustainability & planetary friendliness in our homes. Living a life focused around the health & sustainability of our homes, bodies, and communities takes a collective & personal effort on all of our parts.
Third Thursdays at The Village
A new monthly event is launching at The Village at Rancharrah, inviting the Reno community to sip, shop, and enjoy exclusive specials from their favorite local businesses. Third Thursdays at The Village kicks off this month, bringing together small businesses, delicious drinks, special discounts, and a feel-good way to support the local economy.
Guests can enjoy complimentary drinks, pop-ups, giveaways, and special discounts at 10+ participating businesses!

Second Saturday Swap: Spring Cleaning
Every second Saturday The Waste Less Shop hosts a FREE themed swap from 12-3pm in our shop or outside on the lawn.To celebrate the Spring Equinox in March we are hosting a SPRING CLEANING swap on March 8th.
Out with the old, in with the refreshed! Join us for our Spring Cleaning Swap—a free community event where you can declutter sustainably and bring home something new-to-you.
Gather Your Gently Used or New Items – Bring home goods, storage solutions, sustainable cleaning supplies, or anything that helps keep a space tidy and refreshed.- This isn't a place to dump old junk, bring the kind of things you would like to receive!
Drop Off & Browse – Add your items to the swap tables and explore what others have contributed.
Take What You Love – Find something useful, beautiful, or inspiring to bring home. No money, just good vibes!
Bonus! DIY Refill StationBring an empty bottle for a free sample of our all-natural multipurpose cleaner—made with non-toxic, biodegradable ingredients.

This event is free and open to all! Let’s refresh our homes and lighten our impact together.5 ITEMS MAXIMUM. Items that do not abide by the rules will not be accepted and you will need to take them home with you
Leftover items will be donated locally. Pro-tip: if you stay until the end of the event you can scoop up as many leftovers as you would like! We would love for every item to find a home. Bring items that you would be excited to receive and definitely invite a friend!
