Sustainable Women’s Clothing Brands I Love

As a mom, business owner, and human trying to live a little more intentionally, I’m always on the lookout for clothing that feels good—not just on my body, but in my heart. These are the brands I reach for when I want to feel cozy, put-together, and aligned with my values. Let's be honest, I'm in jeans and a t-shirt or sweatpants 99% of the time, and my wardrobe isn't huge- but my love for these brands is.

Most of these brands are sustainable, ethically made, and designed to last. Some are investment pieces, some are fun and accessible, and all are part of my real everyday life.

My Go-To Sustainable Clothing Brands

Sezane
I discovered this brand on a trip to France last year and fell in love with their Parisian vintage vibes, timeless silhouettes, and beautifully made pieces. I especially love their knitwear.

Mate the Label
Clean, basics made with non-toxic dyes. They have cute sleepwear and everyday tees.

Pact
Organic cotton essentials at accessible prices. Their althetic wear, tanks, and nursing bras are my favorites.

Girlfriend Collective
Some of my favorite crop tees and sweatpants are from Girlfriend Collective, and their prices are super accessible.

Manymoons
I started shopping at Manymoons when I found out I could rent high-quality organic baby clothing for a few dollars a month per piece (which is HUGE when your baby is changing sizes every 2 weeks). But they also have a lot of women's wear, I just got a beautiful dress I'm excited to wear on vacation this summer! Now available online at The Waste Less Shop!

The Simple Folk
Soft, minimalist pieces that are just too timeless to pass up. I discovered them for baby/kids but love their women's line too. Now available online at The Waste Less Shop!

Nuuly
My FAVORITE way to experiment with new styles without buying. It’s also been a great postpartum solution, amazing for weddings/travel to destinations like ski-resorts and tropical islands. BONUS- you can buy styles you love at a huge discount.

Reformation
Okay I know they are getting a bad rep for becoming more of a fast-fashion brand as they are expanding- but I stocked up my closet a few years ago with denim and tops during their year end sale and the pieces are some of my favorites. Figure flattering, on trend, and they've lasted.

Outerknown
I don't have a lot of clothing from Outerknown, but what I do have I LOVE. Their commitment to sustainability is beautiful and the quality shows in their work.

Jungmaven
Made-in-USA hemp basics that are breathable, durable, and totally wearable. I wear their cropped tees allllllll year long. So so soft.

Want to see these brands in real life?
I’ll be sharing how I wear them over on Instagram @wasteless_steph. Come say hi and tell me your favorite sustainable brands—I’m always looking for new ones to fall in love with.
